"World Cinematic Jazz and Dance" is an innovative blend of diverse musical and dance styles, bringing together the timeless elegance of ballet with the rich, dynamic sounds of world music and jazz.  PBDT Artistic Director, Natasha Middleton is collaborating with Benny Rietveld, a 9 x Grammy Award Winner.  He is renowned for his work with the legendary band Santana, Miles Davis and more.  Rietveld's expertise and passion for music bring a new dimension to the performance, enriching Natasha Middleton’s choreography with his eclectic and powerful compositions in The Benny Rietveld Band.

 

Santana's lead  singer Andy Vargas is known as the prince of Latin Soul music in the U.S. will also perform including Benny's Blues hit Demons Run.  15 outstanding musicians, including Elizer "Chamo" Suarez on percussion, and Pacific Ballet's top dancers. 

 

 

This ambitious project aims to transcend traditional performance boundaries, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the universal language of music and movement.
